The choice of surgical treatment for nephrolithiasis remains a matter debate. article is literature review dedicated to comparative analysis the efficacy and safety extracorporeal shock-wave lithotripsy (ESWL) endoscopic methods nephrolithiasis. was based on articles published in PubMed / MEDLINE, eLibrary databases. Sixty publications topic were analysed. As result data analysis, therapies have significant advantage over ESWL with comparable safety. development dissemination less invasive techniques such as mini-percutaneous nephrolithotripsy ultra-mini-percutaneous future may change approach any form
